PROCLAMATIONS, RECOGNITIONS, APPOINTMENTS, PRESENTATIONS:
- Proclamation: February 2025 – National teen dating violence awareness and prevention month
Present to accept the Proclamation will be Empower Tehama’s Bilingual Legal Advocate, Susana Reyes.
PUBLIC COMMENTS AND BUSINESS FROM THE FLOOR: If there is anyone in the audience wishing to speak on items not already set on the agenda, please come to the podium, and briefly identify the matter. To ensure that all members of the public have an equal opportunity to address the City Council, public comments during the designated comment period will be limited to three (3) minutes per speaker. Council will then determine if such matter will be placed on the agenda for this meeting, scheduled for a subsequent meeting, or recommend other appropriate action.
CONSENT AGENDA: It is recommended that items listed on the Consent Agenda be acted on simultaneously unless a Councilmember or members of the audience request separate discussion and/or action.
- Waive reading, except by title, of any Ordinance under consideration at this meeting for either introduction or passage, per Government Code Section 36934.
- Waive the reading and approve the Minutes of the January 28, 2025, regular and closed session City Council meeting with any necessary corrections.

PUBLIC HEARINGS AND MEETINGS:
- 2024-2029 Housing Element Update: Review and make recommendation to the Corning City Council on the draft housing element
REGULAR AGENDA:
- Amend the contract with Placeworks and authorize the City Manager to sign the contract
- Authorize staff to expend the full budgeted amount of $160,000 for the Transportation Center roof replacement project
- Approve the support letter advocating for increased funding for the USDA Rural Development Mutual Self-Help Housing program
- Approve the agreement with Sophia R. Meyer Law, P.C. as special counsel for labor negotiations
